The roots of Liberate and Heal Consulting
Liberate and Heal Consulting offers Spanish-bilingual consultation and training in the areas of education, trauma-informed practices, provision of special education services, mental health, social justice, racial and cultural diversity, equity and inclusion, as well as liberation and healing work. We believe oppression can be traced throughout our global history and results from the lack of understanding, tolerance and love that our intersecting identities are faced with every day. Oppression is also the product of intentional exploitation and harm we must proactively resist or we will perpetuate these cycles. We also believe healing is innate to our survival and lies within us, given safe spaces and humanizing opportunities to personally and collectively understand both our oppression and power to liberate and heal.
Our VISION is a world in which we are all progressively working on liberating from oppression – including how we oppress ourselves – in order to heal one step at a time.
Our MISSION is to liberate and heal one space at a time in order to transform our lives and humanize the world we live in.
